The Shamrock Hotel - Cicero

During my stay as a solo traveler, I enjoyed the morning coffee, which was surprisingly good. The location is convenient, with some restaurants within walking distance and a gas station right next door. I found the street noise quite high, and while the room wasn't filthy, it could use a more thorough cleaning. It was a manageable stay for a night, especially considering the vicinity to local attractions like the Oak Park Conservatory and Columbus Park.

We did not want to leave there, recommend. Stayed here for 1 night and really enjoyed our choice. The rooms were brand-new and included satellite TV, climate control and a writing desk etc. A bathtub in the private bathroom was a plus

During my stay as a solo traveler, a long weekend in the city, i was actually surprised by the modern design of my room. The temperature control kept me comfy, and the free parking was really convenient. The experience at shamrock exceeded my expectations.

the tv didn't work properly.

We really enjoyed the hotel, its favourable location and nice staff. We got a room with bathtubs.

The Shamrock offered newly redesigned rooms with a modern aesthetic, and I particularly appreciated the comfortable temperature controls. The parking was free. The helpful front desk staff also added to my pleasant experience.

Some cleanliness issues observed.

Cleanliness definitely needs attention!!! A more consistent follow-up on maintenance issues would show guests that their comfort is a priority. The lack of basic utilities like hand soap makes it feel less cute!!!

I was genuinely impressed by the newly redesigned rooms, as they offer a stylish vibe that's hard to find at this price point. The temperature controls allowed me to adjust for my comfort, and I loved the USB charging ports by the bed for easy access while I relaxed. Plus, the free parking was a major convenience.

Decent spot for a night

The room had a cool modern look with nice black and white vibes. It was a bit of a letdown with some cleanliness issues. I noticed food stains and weird odors, made me a bit uneasy. Just wish they'd work on the tidiness.

The room had a really modern vibe with nice touches like USB charging ports by the bed. The temperature control worked well, so I stayed comfy. The free parking was a huge plus. A downside was the lack of electricity to the headboard lamps, a letdown.

The recently updated room felt quitet and spacious. We found urine on the toilet seat.

Free parking and good wi-fi were handy. No power to headboard lamps was disappointing.

Great surprise to find a spacious double room here. The location is really convenient, right in the middle of Jackson. 🌇 Plus, it was only a 15-minute drive from Barrie Park, which was perfect.
